This year with a new format and a brand new venue, our network will come together to share, learn and debate best practice, new technologies, and future trends. But this year framed by the Proactive PCI mindset.

Ahead of the main event, we’re hosting a special invite-only day on 8 October for those looking to develop their teaching skills and learn how to share their practice more effectively.

Optima PCI UK is back this October (8–10), and 2025 is shaping up to be our biggest and most energising event yet. As our flagship gathering, this three-day programme is about more than advancing clinical skills, it’s a celebration of the Optima community and the shared belief that proactive PCI can drive better outcomes for patients.

This year marks an important step in our mission to shift the mindset from reactive interventions to planned, patient-centred strategies. We’re bringing together global faculty, experienced practitioners, and early-career fellows for three days of learning, connection, and momentum-building.

Train the trainers – 8 October (invite only)

The programme begins with a dedicated invite-only day on 8 October, created for those who want to build their skills as educators and mentors in PCI.

This small-group session is focused on practical teaching techniques, confidence in communication, and how to share your own experience and insights in meaningful ways. It’s designed for clinicians who are ready to take the next step in shaping the future of the field by teaching others.

What to expect – 9–10 October

The main event takes place over two packed days of live case demonstrations, hands-on workshops, interactive discussions, and collaborative learning. You’ll engage with expert faculty and peers, explore new tools and strategies, and refine your approach to planning and performing PCI.

Course objectives

By the end of Optima PCI UK 2025, participants will be able to:

  • Apply the principles of Proactive PCI to clinical decision-making

  • Evaluate complex PCI scenarios and select appropriate strategies

  • Perform hands-on techniques with greater confidence and precision

  • Interpret live cases and translate insights into everyday practice
